Nicola's Story

Who has studied FATWO.

FATWO is so rare that only a handful of doctors anywhere have written about more than one case. This list brings together the pathologists, cancer specialists and research groups whose work appears in our research library, so patients and doctors can see where the expertise is.

Please read firstWhat this list is, and isn't

It comes only from published papers. We list each person's hospital or university as given in their most recent paper or on an official staff page, and the papers of theirs in our library. We don't list personal contact details.

Being listed doesn't mean someone has agreed to be contacted, can see patients, or endorses this site. Many are pathologists, who examine tissue rather than treat patients.

The best route is usually through your own cancer team, who can ask a specialist centre for a second opinion or send tissue for review.

This is not medical advice. If you're one of these doctors and would like anything corrected, please get in touch.
